Sandra McPherson (1943). Criada en California, Sandra McPherson se licenció en la Universidad de San José y cursó estudios de posgrado con Elizabeth Bishop y David Wagoner en la Universidad de Washington. Entre sus poemarios se incluyen: A Visit to Civilization (Wesleyan University Press, 2002), The Edge Effect (1996), The Spaces Between Birds (1996), The God of Indeterminancy (1993), y The Year of Our Birth (1978). Sus poemas han aparecido en The New Yorker, The Yale Review, The Paris Review, Poetry, The Southern Review y TriQuarterly.
