William Bronk (1918-1999) fue un poeta estadounidense. Por su libro, Life Supports (1981), ganó el Premio Nacional del Libro de Poesía. También fue veterano de la Segunda Guerra Mundial y empresario. Tras impartir clases en Union College durante un breve periodo, se hizo cargo del negocio familiar de Bronk Coal and Lumber tras la temprana muerte de su padre. Lo dirigió durante 30 años en Hudson Falls, Nueva York. Entre sus numerosos poemarios se incluyen Metaphor of Trees and Last Poems (1999), Some Words (1992), Death Is the Place (1989), That Beauty Still (1978), The World, the Worldless (1964), y Light and Dark (1956).
