Mun Jung-hee / Moon Chung-hee (1947) nació en Bosung, Jeollanam-do, Corea del Sur. Obtuvo su doctorado en la Universidad Femenina de Seúl. Debutó como escritora en 1969 en The Literature Monthly. Recibió premios tan prestigiosos como el Premio de Literatura Moderna y el Premio de Poesía Sowol.
