Mantarō Kubota 久保田万太郎 (1889–1963) fue un escritor, dramaturgo y poeta japonés. En el ámbito de la poesía haiku, llegó a dirigir la revista Shunto. Aunque el haiku fue para él una actividad secundaria —ya que se interesaba más por la novela y el teatro—, publicó varias colecciones de este género.
